This article gives installation instructions for your E863SB Bullet Camera.

NVR Connection:

Before installing, ensure the camera is ready to capture footage by connecting it to your NVR's video input with an Ethernet cable.

Camera Placement Tips

  • Consider what you want to monitor and find the best area for coverage.
  • Place the camera close to the area of interest.
  • Avoid positioning the camera where obstructions like trees, bricks, rain gutters, or reflective surfaces are directly in view.
  • Install the camera where it is difficult for thieves and vandals to reach.
  • Ensure the mounting surface can support at least 3 the camera's weight.
  • The ideal position is about 10 ft/3 m above ground, angled 15° downward.
  • Secure the cables so they cannot be seen or easily cut.

Camera Installation:

Warning! Ensure the mounting surface supports 3.45 lbs (1.56 kg), 3 the camera's weight.

  1. Use the mounting template to mark and drill holes for screws and the camera's cable.
  2. Insert anchors for surfaces like drywall, wood, brick, masonry, or concrete.

Installing Anchors

  1. Guide the camera's cable through the surface opening or cable notch.
  2. Mount the camera stand to the surface using the included screws.

Mounting the Camera

  1. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable into the camera's Ethernet connector and the other end into the NVR's PoE port.
  2. Loosen the adjustment screw to position the camera, then tighten it in place.

Adjusting the Camera Angle

  1. Important! Remove the vinyl film from the camera lens for a clear view.
