LNK Series: Adding, editing, and deleting IP Cameras

Modified on Thu, Feb 20 at 6:15 AM

You can add, edit, or delete IP cameras from your LNK Series NVR from the local area network (LAN). IP cameras connected directly to the NVR automatically appear in the IP Cameras menu.

Prerequisite:

  • Ensure that you have connected your IP camera(s) to the same network as your NVR. Refer to your included Quick Start Guide for details. Click here for downloads and documentation for your product.

The following instructions require you to access your system using your DVR / NVR and a monitor.

To add an IP camera:

  1. In the taskbar, click the Main Menu icon (home icon), and then click Settings > Display > IP Camera.
  2. In the IP Camera tab, click the Add icon (Add icon) next to an empty channel to add an IP camera.

TIP: Click Manually Add to add multiple IP cameras from the LAN all at once.

  3. Click Search

  4. Select the checkboxes of the cameras you want to add.
  5. Click Add Selected.

LIMITATION: The system supports Lorex IP cameras only. Click here for a complete list of compatible IP cameras.

To edit an IP camera:

  1. Click the Edit icon (Edit icon - pencil) next to a channel with a connected IP camera.
  2. Configure the settings, and then click OK.

To delete IP cameras:

Click the Delete icon (Delete icon - trashcan) next to a channel to delete a connected IP camera.

LIMITATION: You can only delete IP cameras from the LAN, but not the IP cameras connected directly to the NVR.
