Modified on Thu, Feb 20 at 6:16 AM

The following are some of the most common issues and troubleshooting tips for the Coaxial to Ethernet Converter for PoE Cameras - Receiver (ACVRC) and Transmitter (ACVTR).

Camera cannot connect

  • Make sure the Transmitter (ACVTR) is directly connected to the camera by a Network cable*.
  • The number of Receiver(s) (ACVRC) connected to the same switch/NVR cannot exceed 8.

*Use a solid wire Cat5e/Cat6 network cable (not included)

Do I need both Receiver and Transmitter to upgrade my system?

Yes. You must purchase both the transmitter (ACVTR) and receiver (ACVRC) to upgrade your analog security system to PoE IP camera security system.
