AX62TR Series - Range Extender: Troubleshooting

The following are some of the most common issues and troubleshooting tips for the Range Extender (AX62TR) for the Lorex Smart Home Security Center (LSHSC).


The status indicator is not flashing blue

At the rear of the Extender, press and hold the reset button until the you hear a chime and the status indicator turns solid red.

The Extender is offline

  1. Ensure that the Extender is powered ON and connected to a nearby outlet. If required, reconnect power to the extender. Wait 5-10 minutes to allow the Extender to reconnect to your devices.
  2. On the LSHSC go to the Extender's settings. Ensure that the Extender's status indicator is ON. For the Extender's device settings, refer to the article Range Extender - Frequently Asked Questions.
  3. Move the Extender closer to the LSHSC.
  4. Reset the Extender by holding down the reset button until you hear the chime and the status indicator turns solid red.
