IC501 Series: 2K Indoor Wi-Fi Dual Lens Camera - Troubleshooting Guide

This article discusses common issues with the IC501 2K Indoor Wi-Fi Camera.

I need to reset my camera:

  1. Launch the Lorex Connect App.
  2. Tap on your camera's thumbnail.
  3. Tap Pan & Tilt.
     
  4. Use the up/down arrows to tilt your camera straight up.
  5. Hold down the Reset button until you hear an audio prompt.

I need to replace/Insert an SD card

  1. Launch the Lorex Connect App.
  2. Tap on your camera's thumbnail.
  3. Tap Pan & Tilt.
      
  4. Use the up/down arrows to tilt your camera straight up.
  5. Insert your SD card in the slot and push until it clicks, or push on the SD card and let it pop out before removing gently. Refer to the article "Compatible SD Cards and Storage Sizes" for more information.

I need to install my camera:

I need to Adjust my PTZ camera angle:

  1. Launch the Lorex Connect App.
  2. Tap on your camera's thumbnail.
  3. Tap Pan & Tilt.
     
  4. Use the arrows to tilt your camera.


I need to call from my camera:

On the front at the bottom of your camera, quickly press the call button twice to make a call. You should immediately hear the ringing music. To answer a call press once, and twice again to hang up.


I need to answer a call:

  1. When someone places a call from your camera you will receive the following notification:
  2. Tap the notification and tap the green call button in the app.
  3. If you don't have time you can send a quick response by pressing Respond.

I need to change my Video Settings and Camera Angle:

  1. Launch the Lorex Connect App.
  2. Tap the ... in the top right corner of your camera's thumbnail.
  3. Tap Video Settings.
     
  4. Choose which camera to adjust. You can now configure Video Resolution, Colour Night Vision, High Dynamic Range (HDR), Noise Reduction, Display Lorex Watermark, and Display Timestamp.
  5. Tap Camera Orientation, you can decide if the camera angle should be right-side-up or up-side-down and tap Save to confirm.
