Notice - Security Vulnerability Impacting Certain Devices

Dear Valued Lorex Customers,

Lorex monitors cybersecurity alerts, and as a result, we have been made aware of four vulnerabilities in components manufactured by a supplier of Lorex (CVE-2022-30560, CVE-2022-30561, CVE-2022-30562, CVE-2022-30563) that impact certain Lorex products.

Lorex has already initiated actions to mitigate the risk of misuse of these reported vulnerabilities via firmware updates to affected devices.

Customers are encouraged to check whether there is a new firmware update for their device using the Lorex App or the recorder menu. If an update is available, we recommend initiating a firmware update.
