AJLP-1W Series - Plastic Junction Box - Installation Guide

This article gives installation instructions for your AJLP-1W Plastic Junction Box. For more information, please read the Frequently Asked Questions.


What is Included:

  • Plastic Junction Box
  • Drilling Template
  • Mounting Anchors (4)
  • ST4x25-SUS Screws (4)
  • Black Rubber Covers (3)
  • ST3x16 Screws (4)

Instructions:

Warning: Install in an area that supports the total weight of the camera and accessories.

  1. Place the drilling template where you want to install the junction box, then install the provided anchors.

  1. Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the knockout slot and chisel around the edge to remove it; if burrs remain, use a deburring tool (not included) to smooth the edges and repeat for all necessary slots.

Note: Please complete step 2 on a flat surface and chisel the knockout slot away from your body. This process may take several minutes.

  1. Install the junction box with the provided ST4x25-SUS screws.

Installing the Junction Box

  1. Insert the cable through the knockout hole. Open the rubber over along the slit. Insert the cable into the rubber cover.

  1. Install the rubber cover into the knockout hole. Repeat this step for each knockout hole you want the cable to enter or exit from. You can use the knockout holes on the box cover or any other knockout slots, as shown below. Close the junction box.

  1. Secure the junction box with the ST3x16 screws.

  1. Install the camera side-by-side with the junction box using the camera's anchors and screws (not included).

Note: Do not mount the camera directly on the junction box. Instead install them side-by-side.
