The Lorex Connect App is your all-in-one tool for monitoring and managing your Lorex security cameras and systems, right from your smartphone. This guide will walk you through downloading the app, setting up your account, connecting your first device, and understanding the home screen layout.

Download & Install the App
The Lorex Connect App is available for iOS and Android devices.
- Open the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Search for “Lorex Connect”.
- Tap Download or Install.
- Open the app once installation is complete.
Create an Account or Log In
You’ll need a Lorex Connect account to use the app.
- Create an account:
- Tap Create an account.
- Enter your name, country, email address, and password.
- Review and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Tap Create account.
- Check your email for a 6-digit code and enter it in the app to confirm your email.
- Log in:
- Tap Log in.
- Enter your email address, password, and country.
- Tap Log in to access your account.
- For your first login, check your email for a 6-digit code and enter it in the app.
Add Your First Device
Once you’re signed in, you can connect your first Lorex camera or system.
- From the
Home tab, tap Add device and choose your product type (For example, "2K floodlight camera").
- Plug in or power up your device and wait for the status LED light or voice prompt to confirm it’s in setup mode.
- Allow the app to use Bluetooth and select your device from the list when it appears.
- For the FL301 Series - 2K floodlight camera: Point your phone at the device’s QR code (on the label) and follow the app instructions.

- Select your Wi-Fi network (scroll down), enter the password, and tap Continue.Note: Some cameras connect to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks only.
- Give it a clear name (for example, "Front door"), then tap Continue.
- Allow any updates to install.Do not power off the device. Once the update is complete, your device will reboot.
- Format the SD card if prompted.
- To register your device for warranty, visit www.lorex.com/warranty.
Your device will now appear on the Home screen. Tap its image preview anytime to open Live view.
Navigating the Home Screen
Home is the first thing you see when you open the Lorex Connect app. From here, you can view and manage all your connected devices.
To access Home: Tap the Home tab at the bottom of the app.
View Your Camera
- Tap the camera's image preview to open Live view.
- The camera's image preview also shows the device name (for example, “Backyard”).

Add to a Group
Grouping lets you organize multiple devices together so you can view and manage them more easily from one place. This is helpful if you have several cameras in the same area.
- Tap
Settings on a camera's thumbnail, then select Add to group.
- Group name: Enter a name for the group (for example, “Backyard Cameras” or “Front of House”).
- Devices: Tap to choose which cameras you want in this group, then tap Save.
