App Settings is the place to manage your account info, password and 2FA, language, shared users, subscriptions, saved media, notifications, and support options.

Open App Settings
To open: Tap the App settings tab at the bottom of the app.
Account Settings
Update Your Profile (Name, Email, Phone)
- Tap Account settings > Account information.
- Tap a field to edit your Name, Email, or Phone number.
- Tap Save.
Change Your Password
- Tap Account settings > Privacy and security > Update password.
- Enter the 6-digit code sent to your email, then Continue.
Didn’t get it? Tap Resend code and check spam/junk. - Update password and tap Save.
Turn on Face ID Login
- Tap Account settings > Privacy and security.
- Turn on Face ID login.
Export Account Information
- Tap Account settings > Privacy and security.
- Tap Export account information and follow the prompts.
Change the App Language
- Tap Account settings > App language.
- Select English, Español, or Français.
Delete Your Account
- Tap Account settings > Account information.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account, then follow the on-screen confirmation steps.
Device & Sharing
Manage Shared Users
Learn more in Shared Users.
- Tap Shared Users > Share a device.
- View devices you’ve shared and any pending invites.
- To add someone new, tap Share, select the device, enter their email, set permissions, and tap Send.
- To edit or remove, tap the user’s name to adjust permissions or select Delete to remove them.
Media & Notifications
Find the Snapshots & Recordings Album
Learn more in Snapshots & Recordings.
- Tap Snapshots & recordings.
- Browse saved Photos and Videos captured from Live view, Playback, or Events.
Manage Saved Media
- Open: Tap an image preview to view full screen.
- Share / Save: In the viewer, tap Share or Download/Save.
- Sort / Filter: Tap More to select View (Grid/List) or Sort (Newest/Oldest).
- Jump by date: Tap the calendar at the top.
- Delete: Swipe left on an item to delete.
Notifications & Alerts
- Tap Notifications and alerts.
- Set the Push notifications schedule to only receive alerts during the specified time.
Home & Away Modes
- Tap Home and Away modes.
- Choose what changes when you’re Home vs Away (for example, snooze alerts when Home).
Support & Info
- Emergency monitoring: Sign up if available in your region.
- FAQ & product support: Browse help articles and troubleshooting.
- Submit a tip to Crimestoppers: Share information securely with authorities.
- About: See app version, clear cache, view privacy policy and terms.
- Log out: Sign out of the Lorex Connect app on this device (does not delete your account or devices).
Quick Tips
- Verification codes can take a moment. Tap Resend code and check spam/junk.
- After changing App language, you may need to restart the app.
- For cleaner alerts, decrease the Detection Sensitivity and set Motion Zones to exclude streets/trees.
